So what happens if you have a crush on someone you aren’t supposed to? Life, that’s what. Life goes on, and life keeps turning and life just doesn’t care what you’ve got going on in your tiny, insignificant progression of daily events. You can’t go about your days thinking that there will ever be any sort of reaction to your individual details and wrinkles in your day from the vast majority of the populace. You have to lower expectations, and exceed limitations. You should lower your expectations for other people, not yourself, I mean. If you want something, you simply have to reach out and take it. If you don’t know what you want, you have to figure that out. If you can’t, don’t expect anything to come of it. The world will not take care of you. Friends will, though, and for that you should be thankful. Those few, true, and loving people that take an honest interest in your life and make efforts to improve your life are the purest treasure that life can offer.
